A five minute update that turned into a half hour grammatical misadventure
Let's pretend there are people reading this blog. I've been pretty swamped lately with work (I work for Gempakstarz.com as a writer), finishing 2 bumper issues and dealing with the slow net connection at the office. And my wedding is just around the corner.

Aside from wedding and office issues, I'm also doing some freelance work designing an album cover (first for me, not really designing only functioning as co-art director; my fiancee is the principle designer and art director on this project) and a website for Taman Mini Malaysia, Malaysia's cultural village, this one's mine. I'll post the URL when it's done.

Being rather curious about triple booting 3 operating system on my humble Intel P4 1.7, I started a personal project experimenting with triple booting an XP, Mac OSX and also Ubuntu Linux on a 160Gb Seagate SATA II HDD + 40Gb IDE HDD. The result, an massive headache since XP's bootloader went AWOL and messed up the whole thing. I had to wipe the SATA II HDD clean and is now posting to this blog on Ubuntu since the Mac OSX is also a work in progress.

What I've learned after spending a few hours reading up and using OSX, I finally understand why it has a fanatical user base: It's simply awesome to use. And I'm running an outdated version 10.4.1!

I can't wait till I get my hands on a fresh Mac OSX version 10.4.6 DVD from a friend who's downloaded it for me.

For more info on booting OSX on a x86, go to insanelymac.com. One the of the most informative forums buzzing with activity daily. And if you're interested in running Linux, go to ubuntu.com, another friendly website with a forum Microsoft should be envious about.
